Career
When Fennoy first showed interest in voice-over work, he began working as a DJ in the San Francisco Bay Area. He did a demo tape, that San Francisco talent Joan Spangler saw and signed. He booked his debut tournament and won a spot in the California Lottery in the year 1989. An agent called Leigh Gilbert invited Fennoy to sign with his organization. He refused the offer because at that time he was the morning DJ on local radio station KSOL.
Come February the year 1990, the radio station killed Fennoy, who reached out to Gilbert and relocated to Los Angeles. His debut job was voicing RoboCop in the game Phone RoboCop. In the year 1990, he acted his first role in the animated series New Kids on the Block, voicing Dick Scott. A year later, he voiced Bo Jackson in ProStars. Come 2008, Fennoy started providing five-second voice-overs at the beginning of Hulu clips. (“The following programs are offered to you with commercial implications…”) One of his most notable roles, if not his most famous, is as Lee Everett in Telltale Games’ The Walking Dead. He was giving out his voice to radio until a colleague gave him an idea for a profession in music. He afterwards set up a dubbing studio in his basement.
