Erin is a journalist serving as a news anchor on her own show, Erin Burnett OutFront, on CNN. She hails from American famous for her previous job on CNBC as a co-anchor of the business show “Squawk on the Street” and also for her host position on the TV program “Street Signs”. She has featured on other shows among them MSNBC’s Morning Joe, Meet the Press and Today on NBC, NBC Nightly News and The Celebrity Apprentice where she was the advisor to Donald Trump.

Burnett graduated from Williams College with a Bachelor of Arts degree in political economy. She soon after bagged a job at The Goldman Sachs Group, Inc. as a financial analyst. She served on mergers and acquisitions and also corporate finance in the investment banking division. CNN gave Burnett a job as a writer and booker for CNN’s then show, Moneyline. Nevertheless, she joined CitiMedia, a digital media group from Citigroup, as it’s deputy president.
She then quit Citigroup for Bloomberg TV as an anchor and Stocks Editor. Then later on Burnett worked for CNBC, with her co-anchoring with Mark Haines the show “Squawk on the Street” and hosting “Street Signs”, from 2005-2011. She maintained in the network until her time to leave on 6th May 2011, after five plus years with the network.
