In 2009, she featured Dr. Montague in the hit romantic comedy film The Time Traveller’s Wife, based on the novel of the same name.

From 2016 to 2021, he has featured Kim Yong-mi, the matriarch of the Kim family, in the CBC sitcom Kim’s Convenience. She as well featured the same role in the 2011 play, which she authored and played over 240 times in six cities. For her part on Kim’s Convenience, Yoon received an ACTRA, Award and she was a five-time Canadian Screen Award nominee for the excellent Actress in a Comedy Series, winning at the 10th Canadian Screen Awards in 2022. Yoon acted the part for the Show’s all five-season run.
