Jojo started featuring on television at a very tender age on the series Abby’s Ultimate Dance Competition. She made it to the top-5 finalist on season two of the series, featuring as the youngest contestant on season 2. Jojo was on the series together with her mother and she was dropped in week 9. In 2014, she auditioned for yet again another dance competition, Abby Lee Miller’s ALDC dance competition team. She qualified to the team as she was chosen to join them in early 2015. She also started featuring on Dance Moms, Lifetime reality TV show that follows the ALDC team.

Jojo’s professioin in music started with her first single “Boomerang.” She unvailed the song in May 2016 together with a previous single, for digital download. Boomerang became a hit and it talks about online harousment. Due to the song’s demand, Jojo was listed the Breakout Artist of the Year by Vivid Seats in 2018.

She got to Nickelodeon since 2017 and has featured in many shows and films by the network. Among them “Lip Sync Battle Shorties” with Nick Cannon, “Blurt” with Jace Norman, and more.

Famous for her signature look, putting on large and colorful bows in her hair, Jojo unveiled her line of bows called as JoJo’s Bows in 2016. The bows were purposed for a fashion accessories company called Claire’s that is focused at girls, aged 6 to 12. JoJo’s bows got the attention of young girls more so in the U.K. but they were annulled in schools for a couple of reasons.
Jojo worked with J. C. Penney, an American department store, to unleash bedroom decor, a line of accessories and a doll that resembles her. She had her first major show, D.R.E.A.M. The Tour in mid-2019. Majorly, it was a trip all around the US, the UK, Canada and Ireland as she performed some of her songs.
