Ned made his first appearance at an episode of the BBC medical drama Holby City as Rufus Lucas on 15th September 2015. He then acted in a 13 Episode stint in the BBC soap EastEnders as Mark Fowler between 11th August and 9th September 2016. Aside Mark having been born and raised in the US, he never used an American accent for the role.
On 13th September 2017, he first featured in the ITV soap opera
Emmerable as young businessman Tom Waterhouse, a name that become an alias, the character’s real name being joseph Tate. He got nominations at the National TV Awards and the British Soap Awards. He left Emmerdale in October 2018. The very year, he made his acting film debut in the horror film Astral. He acted Lord Wetherby, Henry Granville’s lover, in the first season of the 2020 Netflix period drama Bridgerton. He lately acted Luke in the Disney+ series Extraordinary.
