Come 2021, Safia Oakley-Green featured in the horror short film Requiem together with fellow TV Workshop alumna Bella Ramsey. The Short become famous after Ramsey’s performance in the HBO TV series The Last of Us got her to fame. She made her feature film appearance in the 2021 biopic The Colour Room for Sky Cinema together with Phoebe Dynevor. She made her TV appearance as Cinderella Jackson in the 2022 BBC One crime drama Sherwood.
In 2022, she featured in the Scottish caveman horror Out of Darkness, before then entitled The Origin; for which she got the British Independent Film Award for an open door Performance in December 2022. In 2023, Safia had a reprising role as Andy in the Disney+ comedy Extraordinary. She has other roles coming up in the second series of The Lazarus Project on Sky Max and the Paramount+ series The Burning Girls.
