Come December the year 2006, Stav applied for a chance at the BBC Weather Centre as a broadcaster. After a successful screen test and a subsequent one on one, Stav began working with the well known team in the month of February 2007, presenting the weather on BBC Nations as well as Regions radio shows. He began featuring for BBC regional news programs including Reporting Scotland. He’s as well served at Newcastle, Northern Ireland, and Birmingham as a presenter. And also writing world weather articles for the web and was in charge of Ceefax weather pages, Stav has equaly had the chance to broadcast regional weather on TV as part of leave cover for the regional presenters. He has produced a TV showreel as part of his television training program. And also his keen interest in weather, Stav enjoys traveling and cooking in his free time and ranks cooking as one of his favorite hobbies. He is an expert when it comes to cooking and has served with an independent catering company producing bespoke food for unique private functions and weddings. He is as well a keen environmentalist and an active member of many organizations, among them, the RSPB and Woodland Trust. Stav enjoys a good long ramble and meets up with a few of his best friends every few months to partake in a weekend excursion. Among his best places to walk are the West Country, North Wales, and the Peak District. One of Stav’s big hard thing to do is to walk the entire 630 miles of Southwest Coast Path! In the year 2010, Stav relocated to Glasgow’s Pacific Quay to serve at the BBC Scotland. He was an all the time voice on a Good Morning Scotland program and a breakfast television presenter there. Although Stav loved his time in Scotland, he came back to London in the year 2013 to join the UK’s and the world’s weather broadcasting teams.
