Tanya is a Grammy Award-winning country music artist and songwriter hailing from USA. Tucker is famous for her 1972 hit song, ‘Delta Dawn’, that she authored at the age of 13. She rose to fame as a teenager and has become an adult and maintained her fanbase, she was among the few children performers that have made it this far. Tanya Tucker Parents and Siblings
From Texas, Miss Tucker was given birth to by Jesse and Juanita Tucker. She is the youngest among her siblings, with musician LaCosta Tucker being her sister and brothers Don Tucker and the late Robert Tucker. The family unit shifted many times as their patriarch handled heavy equipment and he was on a daily path of searching for a better job. Growing up, she had passion for country music a lot that was what she regularly listened to on radio station in town. Her sister, LaCosta, was a strong vocalist and with strong passion for country music, Tanya also gravitated towards the genre too.
Tanya’s mother, took her daughter for an audition when they relocated to St. George, Utah. It was for a film part in Jeremiah Johnson and she was employed in a bit player position. Around the same time, she got the opportunity to sing at a fair entertainment for the managers receiving an invite to sing at the fair itself. They again relocated to Henderson, Nevada, and Tanya continued with her performances in music. She had an illustration tape recorded and it impressed very many names resulting to her getting signed to Columbia Records as the teenage vocalist.

The ‘Delta Dawn’ songwriter almost got married though it has never materialized. She was engaged to Jerry Laseter, a Nashville musician, their relationship is said to be very unstable. The two first got engaged in 1997 and for the second time in 1999. Just before her 1999 wedding, Tanya suspended all the plans as she had discovered that she was expectant and she did not want to have her day while pregnant. Laseter has co-produced some of her albums include: My Turn (2009), Tanya (2002) and Live at Billy Bob’s Texas (2005).
Tanya has as well been in other relationships before meeting Laseter with such entertainers like Glen Campbell from 1980 to 1981, Don Johnson, Andy Gibb, and Merle Haggard. With actor Ben Reed, she got her first two children.

Her first child is a daughter called Presley Tanita Tucker, given birth to on July 5th, 1989, and the second is son, Beau Grayson Tucker, given birth to on 2nd October 1991. Tanya’s third youngest child is daughter Layla LaCosta Laseter, born on 25th June 1999.
