They were taken to an open casting call by their mother, and both qualified to feature on Leave It to Beaver. “Tiger” Fafara was featured as “Tooey Brown,” a buddy of Wally Cleaver, while Stanley was featured as Beaver Cleaver’s friend Hubert “Whitey” Whitney. To add to appearing on Leave It to Beaver, Fafara featured in episodes of many TV shows, among them Schlitz Playhouse of Stars, Private Secretary, Lassie, The Adventures of Rin Tin Tin, Make Room for Daddy, The Donna Reed Show, Wagon Train, and My Three Sons. He also had small roles in the 1955 drama Good Morning, Miss Dove (Fafara and his brother Stanley acted the role of the same character as children). Fafara came back to acting in 1983 appearing as the adult Tooey Brown in the TV reunion film Still the Beaver. He repeated the role in the follow-up sitcom The New Leave It to Beaver, from 1983 to 1987.
